Dagwaagin Colour Run 2024!

We are thrilled to announce that we collected a whopping $1,360 for the Heart & Stroke Foundation in our buddy Mike's name. It means so much to us to work with such generous and charitable people—thank you! Holmlund Financial will proudly match this donation in support of the Fort Frances Community Chest.

Holmlund Financial was excited to hold our 1st Annual Youth Soccer Skills Camp July 19th & 20th. Muskie Soccer coaches Tyler Ruppenstein and Cam Lidkea put together a day of drills and scrimmages to offer your child the opportunity to hone their soccer skills while having fun!

Proud to Sponsor the Fort Frances Youth Soccer End of Year BBQ Our team had a great time cooking and feeding hundreds of soccer players and their families. It was a wonderful event, and we were very impressed with the organizers and volunteers who made it all run smoothly. Despite the rainy weather we served over 1000 hot dogs!

Happy to announce we are donating the proceeds from our Walk-A-Thon to the Fort Frances Bear Clan Patrol. For each step we pledged to donate 5 cents to the Bear Clan Patrol Fort Frances for a total donation of $1,590!

Last week seven Anishinaabe women were honoured by the Anishinaabeg Women’s Empowerment (AWE) Collective based on the Seven Grandfather teachings. One recipient being our own Shannon King , for the Manaaji’idiwin (Respect) award.

Pledge 1% I'm honoured to be able to support the Fort Frances High School Athletic Teams with a donation of $10,000. Having the chance to play Muskie sports helped me to build confidence and learn to overcome challenges. Happy to see more kids getting the same opportunity.

We were excited to partner with 807 Selects Volleyball Club and La Place Rendez-Vous to offer a free youth volleyball skills camp with fantastic coaches like Dustin Reid of Toronto Metropolitan University, Amy Wilson-Hands of the Waterloo Warriors and Goose McMahon of 807 Selects and NAIG. Sarah Faragher, owner of La Place Rendez-Vous, and coach Terry "Goose" McMahon of 807 Selects provide such amazing support to our community. Both jumped at the chance to help pay for and organize a free camp for our youth. Make sure to thank them and support their local efforts!
