Susan Bodnarchuk had spent the last 35 years building one of the premier independent financial advisory firms in NorthWestern Ontario. After mailing in a resume for an anonymous reception position, Susan joined Bruce Holmlund’s practice in 1987. She often talks fondly about this chance opportunity with Bruce as the pivotal moment of her career.
Susan quickly realized her passion for the Financial Services industry and transitioned into a client consultant role. As an advisor, Susan obtained the prestigious Certified Financial Planning designation confirming her dedication to her clients. After 10 successful years, Susan jumped at the opportunity in 1997 to become a partner and by 2004 became the sole owner of Holmlund Financial.
Dedication, hard work, and integrity is what made Susan successful. She greatly appreciates the fact that her clients have entrusted her with their finances as they moved through the many different stages of life. Now, having passed the business on, Susan is excited to shift into retirement mode with a small dash of Business Consulting for the HF team.
Susan spends her spare time relaxing with family and friends at their cabin on beautiful Rainy Lake and hopes to add more world travel in the future.
